The holiday season is officially here, and with it comes one of our most-loved traditions at the Cari Ann Carter Group—bringing home and decorating our iconic 18-foot Christmas tree! Every year, our community asks how we pull off such a massive and magical holiday centerpiece, and this year we’re giving you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look.
In our newest YouTube video, we take you through the full journey—from taking down a towering 35-foot tree to transforming the top 18 feet into the stunning showpiece that fills our home with holiday magic. It’s a detailed, hands-on process that blends craftsmanship, creativity, and a whole lot of holiday spirit.
You’ll see how our team carefully lowers the full tree, prepares the upper section, and shapes it into the breathtaking Christmas tree we’ve become known for. While it may look effortless when you see the final result, the behind-the-scenes work is an incredible labor of love—and a tradition that means so much to our Designer Homestead.
This annual project is one of our favorite ways to kick off the season, and we’re thrilled to share the full transformation with you.
